Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice significantly limit our ability to offer the appointment time to another patient in need.
To ensure efficient scheduling and continuity of care, the following policy is in effect:

General Policy

  • Patients are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Messages may be left at any time to avoid a cancellation fee.

Existing Patients

  • First occurrence: A courtesy warning will be issued.
  • Second consecutive occurrence: A $50 No-Show or missed appointment fee may be assessed if proper notice is not provided.

New Patients

  • A $100 No-Show fee will be charged for missed appointments.
  • New patients must notify the office at least two days in advance to cancel or reschedule appointments.
  • Messages may be left to avoid the fee.

Additional Terms

  • No-Show and cancellation fees are not billable to insurance and are the patient’s responsibility.
  • Unpaid balances may be referred to collections.
  • Patients arriving 10 minutes or more late may have their appointment canceled and rescheduled at the discretion of the office.
  • Repeated violations of this policy may result in dismissal from the practice.
