Maryellen P. Brucato, DPM, FACFAS, Board Certified in Foot & Ankle Reconstructive Surgery
Dr. Brucato is a board certified foot and ankle reconstructive surgeon now serving the surrounding community of Clifton, NJ. After graduating from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Brucato was trained at one of the top surgical residencies at Morristown Medical Center. She lectures across the country on a variety of different topics and has published numerous research papers in peer-reviewed journals. She treats all disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower leg in patients of all ages! She specializes in diabetic limb salvage (saving feet!), pediatrics, and reconstructive surgery. Even though Dr. Brucato is a leader in her field, her best attribute is her warm and caring bedside manner.
Keval G. Parikh, DPM, FACFAS, Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery and Board Certified in Wound Healing
Dr. Parikh is an exceptional foot and ankle surgeon who has extensive training in foot and ankle arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, trauma surgery, and diabetic limb salvage. He is well-trained and treats all ailments of the foot and ankle. Dr. Parikh is fluent in Gujarati and Hindi.
Dr. Parikh completed his Bachelors degree at Rutgers University with a Major in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. He then went on to Temple University to earn his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. He completed a comprehensive 3-year surgical residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville, a level 1 trauma center where he served as chief resident. He is double Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Wound healing. He is a fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and in the Physicians in wound healing.
Dr. Parikh is currently available to see new patients and for same day appointments. He is very excited to continue to help patients optimize their quality-of -life.
Meltem Ates, DPM, FACFAS, Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery, Diplomate of American Board of Podiatric Medicine
Dr. Meltem Ates graduated summa cum laude from St. Francis College in Brooklyn. Upon graduation, she attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed a four-year surgical residency training at New York Presbyterian/ Queens where she was comprehensively trained in reconstructive and elective surgery of the foot and ankle. She completed multiple educational courses focusing on both internal fixation as well as arthroscopic surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and board certified by American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is a compassionate physician who always takes the patient’s goals and lifestyle into account prior to establishing a treatment plan.
Christie Stawicki, DPM, AACFAS, Board Qualified in Foot and Ankle Surgery
Dr. Christie Stawicki is thrilled to be joining Brucato Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. Prior to obtaining her medical degree at Temple School of Podiatric Medicine, she served as a research fellow for the President of the Rothman Institute and published multiple research papers, and book chapters pertaining to Orthopedic Spine surgery and trauma. She was awarded the Dr. Stanley Graduation Award of Clinical Excellence, the Mirmiran Family Scholarship, and was nominated as Student of the Year for the Temple University Class of 2022. She went on to complete her surgical training at University Hospital in Newark, NJ, a Level 1 trauma center, where she served as academic chief resident. Her surgical training focused on Foot and Ankle trauma, forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, and limb salvage. She was the recipient of the Rutgers University Intern of the month, has held various leadership and volunteer positions for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, and served as a medical team volunteer at the Boston Marathon. She has completed multiple advanced educational courses focusing on external fixation, ankle arthroscopy, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. She has developed a strong passion for patient advocacy and is eager to provide podiatric care to the North Jersey region. In her spare time, she enjoys weight lifting, Jiu Jitsu, Peloton, theatre, and spending time with her family.

After 2 months of assorted doctors and hospital visits I contacted Brucato Foot for help. They saw me on the day of my call and Dr. Parikh listened carefully to my story and explained in detail how he could help me treat my wound. It took 5 weeks of graft applications and today I was discharged. Unbelievable experience as Dr. Parikh carefully treated me. A few doctors I visited prior to coming to this office wanted to perform “two” surgeries to cover and treat my wound. I don’t believe you have surgeries until you exhaust all other non surgical options. Glad I came to see Dr. Parikh and his staff as they are all top notch professionals. Thank you for treating me “the patient” and not just the wound.
Dr. Mary Ellen Brucato is an amazing surgeon. I had toe fusion surgery and had absolutely NO PAIN following. Her staff is very warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this Dr and Staff for all foot needs. Simply the Best.

Dr. Brucato is the best! She feels like family yet is very professional. She was EXCELLENT with my toddler who was suffering from an ingrown toenail. She has also helped relieve my foot injuries over the years. Dr. B gives helpful tips, exercises, and recommends boots/supports as needed. I am always able to manage my pain issues thanks to her top-quality care. I couldn't ask for a better doctor! In addition, her office staff is very friendly and efficient. Five stars all around. I would give ten stars if I could.

I've been going to Dr. Brucanto for plantars fascitis. Dr. Brucato & John have been very patient with me in getting my orthodics maided to the correct molded to the correct fit. Their expertise and professionalism made it possible for me to be pain free. You guys are the BEST. I highly recommend this practice.
We came in with a severe case of plantar's worts at the end of February, thinking chopping it would be cleared up in time to enjoy late summer. Dr. Parikh's expertise and diligence ensured that it was quickly cleared up only 2 months later! The dr's bedside manner was great, put everyone at ease with his friendliness and same goes for the staff! I highly recommend!
When I first come I have been struggling with my foot for almost 2yrs. This was my 4th doctor to see and I truly felt heard and understood at my visit here. After the surgery, I felt and noticed a huge difference with my right foot getting better. I am glad that i came here and finally got the best treatment.
Everything was good. I was very comfortable with all my visits. The office staff was very nice. Dr. Parikh healed my woun and continued to follow up to make sure I got my lymphedema pumps. I recommend this office & Doctors to all.

Excellent experience. I’ve been struggling with my big toe fungus for 5 years. I even tried the oral medication at a different office, but the fungus came back right after. When I came to Brucato Foot & Ankle Surgery, the doctor was very encouraging and recommended the laser treatment and Jodlin medication. THANKS BE TO GOD — my toe is perfectly healthy and the fungus is completely gone!!!
